Faith Based Counselling - Fleeing Fear through Embracing Faith, Love and Self-Compassion

At Lori Gill Psychotherapy ~ Holistic Wellness for Health, we recognize that spirituality and faith can be among the most powerful elements in healing. We warmly welcome the integration of your faith or spiritual beliefs into your therapy journey.

  • Respect for All:
Our center is inclusive and deeply respectful of your values, culture, and religious beliefs. We honor your unique spiritual journey.

  • Collaborative:
We invite you to share aspects of your faith that are important to you. If we are unfamiliar with your beliefs, we will ask questions with sensitivity and openness to better understand your perspective.

  • Personalized Care:
Faith-based counselling can include a variety of techniques, such as:

    • Scripture-based meditation
    • Breath prayers
    • Mindfulness practices
    • Reframing challenges through a faith lens
    • Integrating your faith into the ITATM™ trauma processing protocol
